Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy of Global Multidisciplinary Open Research Journal (GMORJ).

Every research article in Global Multidisciplinary Open Research Journal is peer reviewed before publication.

Confidential review

Manuscripts are reviewed in confidence by independent experts chosen by the editor. Reviewers must keep the manuscript confidential, and their identities are never shown to authors.

The process

  1. Initial check: an editor in the relevant subject checks scope, quality and formatting, and the manuscript is checked for similarity (see Plagiarism Policy). Manuscripts that are out of scope or clearly not ready may be declined without review.
  2. Review: the editor invites independent experts, normally at least two. Reviewers are given a deadline and reminded automatically.
  3. Decision: based on the reviews, the editor decides to accept, request minor or major revisions, or reject. The reviewers' comments are shared with the author.
  4. Revision: revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers.
  5. Publication: accepted articles are prepared and published online with their own page.

Authors can follow each stage on their dashboard.

Reviewer selection

Reviewers are chosen for their expertise and must have no conflict of interest with the authors. Authors may suggest reviewers, or ask us to exclude specific ones, in a message on their submission; the editor decides.

Editorial independence

Decisions are made by editors on academic grounds only. Whether a publication charge applies has no influence on any decision.
